Risen from the ashes

On Friday 19th March 2004 the Chapel was deliberately set on fire and sustained serious smoke damage to the Worship area and some structural damage to it and a small adjacent room.  The Church has been taken down as it was irreparable but activities continued in the Hall for several months until alterations to the Church Hall were made to turn it into a modern, well appointed dual purpose building, which have included improvements to the kitchen and toilet facilities and a new entrance porch.  There is now a car park where the old chapel used to exist.
